Welcome to 2016

Happy New Year Red Tape Translation

Welcome to 2016, and welcome to Berlin!

2015 treated us well at Red Tape Translation. Things got quite intense in the second half of the year. We welcomed Kim to our team to help out with overflowing inboxes and our team of interpreters and translators grew too. We even managed to have a cracking Christmas party at Kathleen’s favourite Italian restaurant, Trattoria Felice.

I’m looking forward to seeing more of the same in 2016 – hundreds of appointments all around the city, hundreds of translations, lots of shiny work permits, the odd wedding ceremony, and above all, happy faces all around. Over the next few weeks and months I’ll be revamping the logo, working on some brand identity stuff and hopefully even expanding into new cities. Introducing some new language pairs is on the cards too. Watch this space to find out more!

Get in touch if you need to get stuff done in German. Make important phone calls, go through your paperwork before your visa appointment or take an interpreter with you to the job agency or the Ausländerbehörde. We are looking forward to meeting lots of new travelers in 2016 and watching you all fall in love with Berlin.

Cheers

Kathleen Parker

  • She made me laugh and I forgot to be nervous. I'm glad I decided to take a German speaker, the whole unemployment benefits thing was so complicated and I never would have figured it out for myself.
